Overview of the Every Other Day Diet

Dr. Krista Varaday is an assistant professor from the University of Illinois who developed The Every-Other-Day Diet. On this diet, you alternate regular meal days with days when you only eat 400-500 calories (if you are a woman) or 500-600 calories (if you are a man).

On the day when your calorie count is restricted, you eat 1 meal between 12pm and 2pm. This requires you to plan a little. This is a sort of intermittent fasting diet that may require you to talk with your physician before starting it.
