So, what does this diet include? Plant foods and lean protein. It’s a combo diet that includes both so that you get all the nutrients that plants provide while also feeling full and having energy from eating enough protein. Your blood sugar will also be stable. The food choices include fresh veggies (except for those that may cause issues and white potatoes), some fruit and berries, naturally raised lean meat, poultry, wild-caught seafood, nuts, seeds, eggs, oils (coconut, grape seed, olive, almond, and macadamia nut), dried lentils and beans.
